Boxing Day

I am thankful today for my family
I am thankful, too, for my health
And I am planning on this Boxing Day
To share my life of "wealth"
It's the day after Christmas memories
Have been etched into my mind
And I want to share with some for which
The holiday has not been so kind
So, I'll gather up my everyday "fortune"
And set some of it aside
To share with those less fortunate
This Boxing Day - with pride
