Autumn Mist
Writen by Beverlee Blampied (c)
The finest mist of autumn wraps the whole world round
And on the soft wings of birds it multiplies every sound
Its cool and clinging moisture soothes my tired face
As it reaches onward, upward, toward the endlessness of space
The minute crystal droplets twinkle as they fly
Through the air, flinging their tiny rainbows at the far-off sky
The wispy fog of early fall will always seem to me
The most beautiful and peaceful sight that ever man can see
